TEKNOWLEDGE WORLDWIDE, CELEBRATING 5 YEARS,
NAMES RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE PHILADELPHIA AS 2026 TEKSGIVING RECIPIENT
PHILADELPHIA, PA — TEKnowledge Worldwide (TKW), a nonprofit technology community with members across North America, has selected Ronald McDonald House Philadelphia (RMH Philly) as the recipient of its 5th Annual TEKSGiving grant following a community-wide vote. The announcement launches what organizers say will be the largest and most ambitious TEKSGiving initiative to date.
RMH Philly provides lodging, meals, and supportive services to families whose children are undergoing critical medical treatment at local hospitals. The House supports up to 149 families each night, allowing parents and caregivers to remain close to their hospitalized children during extended stays.
“This selection reflects the values of the entire TKW community,” said Ray Cline, President of TKW. “Our members didn’t just vote—they committed. Our 5th Annual TEKSGiving will be an all-hands-on-deck effort to support children and families facing unimaginable challenges, and we are excited to bring the full strength of the technology community behind this mission.”
TEKSGiving is TKW’s annual philanthropic initiative that mobilizes technology professionals, vendors, and volunteers across North America to deliver technology upgrades to nonprofit organizations in need. This year’s campaign will focus on strengthening operational and technology infrastructure at Ronald McDonald House Philadelphia while raising national awareness of the organization’s mission and impact.
“We are honored to be selected by the TKW community,” said Brian Hilghman, Information Technology Manager of Ronald McDonald House Philadelphia. “This gift will directly strengthen our technology infrastructure, enhancing cybersecurity protections and ensuring reliable services for families staying with us during their children’s medical treatments.”
Planning is already underway for a yearlong campaign engaging national vendors, sponsors, and volunteers, with additional details to be announced in the coming months.

Ronald McDonald House Philadelphia offers temporary lodging, transportation, meals, and supportive services to families traveling to Philadelphia for pediatric care. The House also provides a summer camp for kids with cancer, a mobile dental health clinic for underserved children, and family lounges at local children’s hospitals.
