Last week, Tricia Dixon`s call to action not only raised about $1,000 towards TEKSGiving, she spurred Daniel Higdon Higdon and Ali Goodwin, to jump on the bandwagon with a challenge gift as well!
Many of you know Dan from Ashton Computer. He`s also a TAC who has personally attended all prior #TEKSGiving events! Some of you were even lucky enough to meet Ali at #TEKFest last year! We`re excited to see them both this year in Rhode Island, and we`re grateful for their generosity and leadership!
You know the rules! For TODAY ONLY, Dan and Ali are matching up to $500 in donations! Who is gonna help us take their money? As it stands, we are just over the $5,000 mark towards our goal of $15,000. We`ve had many generous sponsors agree to cover the cost of a significant portion of our scope, but we need help crossing the finish line.
Remember, all donations are tax-deductible and go directly towards helping us change the lives of our TEKSGiving recipients. Last year it was the kids and families of La Escuelita. This year it`s victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking. People with real needs that we can solve with our unique talents and expertise.
